ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ - Rev. Dr. Dale R. Miller has had a rich and diverse career in ministry and education. He has served as the Senior Pastor at Upland Baptist Church in PA as well as at the First Baptist Church in Bethlehem, PA. He also served as an Area Minister for churches in both Pennsylvania and Delaware.
Rev. Dr. Miller has also used his pastoral experience to help teach and guide seminary students at Eastern Baptist Seminary as well as a member of the Church Leadership Institute for American Baptist Churches of PA & DE. He has specifically taught courses in practical pastoral theology, pastoral ethics, Baptist history and polity, Baptist theology and ethics, and covenantal theology and doctrine. Rev. Dr. Miller has also served as a guest lecturer at Union Theological Seminary and as a workshop presenter to help church congregations identify their strengths and goals for the future. All of Rev. Dr. Miller’s excellent work to further the kingdom of God led him to receive a Regional Discipleship Award from the American Baptist Home Mission Society in 2009.
Rev. Dr. Miller has now chosen to redirect his expertise and use it to assist churches as they go through periods of transition from one minister to another. As an interim pastor, he is specifically meant to serve as a spiritual leader who will help the congregation say goodbye to Pastor George Hancock-Stefan as he retires from ministry and say hello to whoever God calls to serve as the new pastor.
