RED BANK, NJ - Jennifer Eckhoff, Executive Director of the Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce, has been appointed to the Coronavirus Economic Recovery Advisory Council for the 11th Legislative District of New Jersey. This official council was formed by Senator Vin Gopal and Assembly Members, Eric Houghtaling and Joann Downey to provide insight, expertise and on the-ground knowledge as the State of New Jersey re-opens.
Specifically, Ms. Eckhoff will play a vital role as a contributing member of the Shore Economy Committee which is chaired by Marilou Halverson, President of the New Jersey Restaurant and Hospitality Association. The Shore Economy Committee will assist Monmouth County businesses on the path to recovery by gathering and sharing ideas and providing a direct line to 11th District Legislators so voices will be heard.
“The direct access to our government officials in this matter is an important facet of the EMACC mission. To be recognized by Senator Gopal as a leader in business and in LD 11 is an honor. I look forward to hearing from and helping as many of our businesses get back to what we do best, support each other and support our economy,” stated Ms. Eckhoff upon receiving this vital appointment.
