mc library eastern branchSHREWSBURY – A variety of programs in the business and finance fields are offered during February at  the Eastern Branch of the Monmouth County Library, with subjects ran ging from entrepreneurship and how to start a business in New Jersey to learning more about Medicare.

In addition, a Neighbors-helping-Neighbors career Transition Support and Networking group is held every Wednesday in February  at 10 am.    No reservations or advance registration are needed for these group meetings.

Learning the ABCDs of Medicare,  will be presented by Pat Guadagno, a licensed insurance agent,  on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m.

SCORE will co-sponsor a program presented by Alejandro Cruz, UDEDC, on an Introduction to Entrepreneurship on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at  6 p.m.

Cruz will present a second program on how to start a business in New Jersey, also co-sponsored by SCORE on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 6 p.m.  Registration in advance is requested for both these programs and can be made by calling 732-683-8980.

The Friends of the Monmouth County Library will present Restorative Yoga, a program by Daniele Parisi every Friday  in February at 10 a.m. A second session is added at 11:1 5 a.m. Registration is required for these sessions and can be made by calling 732-683-8980.

Dhan Goboori, from The Art of Living Foundation, will present a program on destressing and proper breathing through yoga and meditation. Registration  is required for this program, which will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Feb. 11.  Registration can be made by calling the library at  732-683-8980.
