West Windsor, NJ - We live in a world where there is always conversation about something or the other. However, many times in the conversation about politics and governmental affairs we see one huge sector missing - teens.

Political tensions in America have always been tight and while senators and representatives are busy discussing bills and resolutions in congress, this high school teenager from West Windsor Plainsboro High School North is out sparking a conversation between teenagers.

“Our voices and opinions are often ignored and brushed aside due to our age,” says Siddharth Satish, the founder and host of the podcast called ProCon on spotify.

“We often have things to say about the actions that our government takes yet oftentimes we are either not allowed to do so or told that this is an ‘adult’ conversation. Adults need to start realizing that the things they do impact us, and that we deserve a say in the policies that they are enacting.”

Siddharth’s passion for advocacy and speech is what inspired him to start this podcast. In each episode he invites debaters to debate on topics like American exceptionalism and the naturalized citizenship clause of the constitution. These debates are then uploaded onto spotify every Friday and episodes last anywhere between 20-30 minutes.

Siddharth also produces content that deals with becoming a better communicator. Having been involved in multiple speech and debate activities he thinks that effective communication is the first step towards positive change, and teaches teens ways in which they can express themselves more clearly and confidently.

Siddharth invites all those interested in participating to email him and would love for people to join his initiative and become a content curators or members of the procon executive board.
