Red Bamboo Marketing Develops New Brand Identity With the AHA
NEPTUNE TWP., NJ: The Affordable Housing Alliance (AHA), a non-profit community catalyst providing housing and related relief, today announces debut of new brand identity and architecture after working closely with Red Bamboo Marketing (RBM), a boutique marketing firm specializing in non-profit work.
The AHA, a full service non-profit organization dedicated to expanding affordable housing resources in New Jersey for 27 years, worked with RBM, a local leader in non-profit marketing, to evolve its brand identity. RBM collaborated with the AHA staff and Board of Directors to build an updated brand architecture including purpose, promise, and personality as well as a consistent set of key brand messages. The work culminated in an updated brand identity and logo.
“Our new brand identity reflects our evolving status as one of New Jersey’s leading non-profit agencies,” said Donna Blaze, CEO and Founder. “We decided to work with RBM because of their extensive non-profit experience as well as their understanding of the challenge to preserve our current image while also encapsulating our growth as an organization.”
Established in 1991, the AHA has grown from one employee with a $25,000 grant to 80 employees and nearly $6 million in operations annually. The decision to build a new brand that preserved the AHA’s mission, while showing its evolution into becoming a full-service agency, was a key factor in relaunching their brand identity. The new brand reflects the AHA as one of New Jersey’s leading non-profits, providing housing and related relief to give every NJ citizen the opportunity to live a better life.
“Our creative process focuses on team engagement from our clients,” said Jennifer Garcia, Co-Founder and CEO of RBM who is also working on additional projects with clients facing similar issues. “Our team works with our clients, pulling together ideas from both sides, so that the final deliverable is a success.”
