The Rev. Paul F. Rack, the church pastor, will lead both services.
Pastor Rack's Easter sermon is entitled "I Have Seen the Lord!" and is based on John 20:1-18.
'We will talk about the meaning of resurrection in our lives why Jesus' resurrection is good news for all," according to the pastor. "It is not just an historical event but a vision of our future, revealing the ultimate destiny of human life and creation.
"Christ's resurrection demonstrates the truth that life and love and goodness and light always win over the powers of evil, and that we may now live together in 's love without fear."
Church members and friends are also invited to attend the Good Friday service being conducted from noon to 3 p.m. at the Central Baptist Church and the Easter Sunrise Service starting at 6:30 a.m. at the municipal harbor. Both services are sponsored by the Area Association of Community Churches.
