ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ - The municipal Shade Tree Commission has invited borough residents to its first public Stakeholder's Meeting at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 4 at Borough Hall.
The meeting is aimed at "bringing together concerned individuals to promote trees and the environment," according to Louise I. Donoghue, the commission's co-chairman.
"This will be a short meeting about what we do and what our plans are for the future," she said.
Mrs. Donoghue will act as emcee and co-chairmen Marilyn Scherfen will present a power-point program.
Refreshments will be served.
