ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS -- The Rev. Barbara Macfie will be the guest speaker during Sunday's worship service at the First Presbyterian Church.

      Her sermon, entitled "Why We Should Go To Church," draws on readings from  Exodus, Deuteronomy, Psalm 55 and the gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke to explain why it is so important to have a relationship with God and how the church helps us in having the relationship.

     All area residents are invited to attend.

     Macfie is substituting for the church's pastor, the Rev. Paul F. Rack, who will return to the pulpit on Sunday, Oct. 26. She is an ordained Presbyterian minister who lives in Metuchen, where she has her own practice.

      The David Nunez-directed adult choir will perform during the worship service.

      Sunday School, which is open to all area youngsters, will begin after the children's service.

     Child care is provided during all services at the church at Third and E. Highland avenues.
