HIGHLANDS, NJ - Find out Wednesday, July 16 at 7:30 pm at the historical lighthouse and museum in Highlands, NJ.   The Twin Lights historical site has been under renovation, creating a state of the art gallery, as well as a new video presentation and exhibitions.

Twin Lights Historical Society Collections Chair Mark Stewart and Twin Lights Curator Margaret Carlsen will offer a preview of the new museum to the Atlantic Highlands Historical Society its members and friends on Wednesday, July 16, at 7:30 pm.  A rare South Tower “night climb” (weather permitting) is part of the fun—flat shoes are highly recommended.

The talk is free and open to the public.  It will be held at the Twin Lights Museum meeting room, 2 Light House Rd. in Highlands NJ.  All are welcome to come and learn what has been accomplished and what further improvements are planned for these historic beacons, first illuminated in 1828.

Refreshments provided by AHHS will be served after the meeting
