HOLMDEL, NJ - Friday, April 4, CILU (Citizens for Informed Land Use) will hold its annual meeting and potluck dinner from 6-9 PM at the Holmdel Community Center. The Annual Earth Day Festival will be held May 4, at Bayonet Farm, noon - 5 PM.  This year, CILU is sponsoring a photography contest for students in grades 7-12.  Students must be Holmdel residents but may attend non-public schools. (The winning photographs, to be submitted by April 13, on the theme "Landscapes of Holmdel"),  will be displayed at the Earth Day Festival. At its regular public meeting on May 19, CILU will host Linda Rohleder, Coordinator of the Lower Hudson Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management. Dr. Rohleder will talk about Invasive Species - plants and deer. The meeting, free and open to the public, will be at the Holmdel Community Center on Crawford's Corner Road, at 7:30.  Citizens for Informed Land Use (CILU) promotes informed and thoughtful land use, and the protection of our natural resources, our land and our water.
