Substantial Savings For Eatontown And Monmouth Beach With Up To $150,000 Per Year In Revenue For Tinton Falls.
TINTON FALLS, NJ – On Tuesday, August 6st the Tinton Falls Borough Council will be voting on a resolution to authorize Mayor Michael Skudera to execute a shared service agreement for municipal court services with the Boroughs of Eatontown and Monmouth Beach.
The agreement will allow all three municipalities to share the same courtroom, court offices, administrative employees, equipment and supplies. It will conserve resources and provide for a more efficient and economically sound municipal court system.
“Borough Administrator Gerry Turning and I have been actively working to promoting the use of the Tinton Falls courthouse” said Mayor Michael Skudera. “Gerry Turning’s hard work goes well beyond saving money; this agreement actually generates positive revenue for Tinton Falls”.
The Tinton Falls courtroom is a modern and spacious facility. It has been used by the Monmouth County Superior Court and has hosted countless state, county, and local events. Shared services have helped Tinton Falls and other governmental entities do more with less in this challenging economic climate.
