WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – If you missed last weekend’s Made in Monmouth event, there’s still a way for you to get in touch with the 170 Monmouth County vendors that participated in this unique one-day shopping expo.
“Made in Monmouth is one of the best County-sponsored events,” said Freeholder Thomas A. Arnone, liaison to the County Division of Economic Development. “It’s a great opportunity for our residents and visitors to see many of the unique products created right here in Monmouth County and it’s a great opportunity for our local businesses to connect with customers.”
Each of the vendors at the shopping expo is listed in the online 2015 Made in Monmouth vendor directory. Some of the vendors have storefront operations; others have an online presence. Contact information as well as a description of the types of products available is included, too.
Among the items in the directory are custom furniture, handmade jewelry at every price point, flowers and plants, baked goods, chocolate, specialty honey, award-winning sauces, treats for both you and your dog, great books and soy candles. Also listed are original art and photography, pottery, bath and body scrubs and lotions, stationery and items for sea lovers, decorative items for home and garden, handbags and accessories.
From 2 Chicks With Chocolate to Yankeegirl Art, you are sure to find a Monmouth County business with something perfect for your use or gift giving.
This annual event, organized by the Monmouth County Division of Economic Development and sponsored by the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders in conjunction with Monmouth University, introduces residents to the variety and quality of products being made in MonmouthCounty.
Made in Monmouth is a project under the County’s Grow Monmouth initiative.
