The Titanic: 110 Years Later
May 11 @ 7:00 pm

MIDDLETOWN, NJ – Middletown Township Public Library (MTPL) will host local historian Greg Caggiano as he presents “The Titanic: 110 Years Later” on May 11th in the community room.
On April 15, 1912, four days into the trip from England to New York City, the RMS Titanic famously sank and 1,517 lives were lost. Historian and Brookdale Community College lecturer Greg Caggiano will lead a program on the story of the Titanic – its voyage and sinking. The presentation will include an overview of passengers’ life on the ship, a study of how the ship was constructed, and reasons why it sank. Foodies may also enjoy the inclusion of the ship’s cuisine!
All are welcome to join this educational in-person history program in MTPL’s community room at 7:00 pm on May 11th. Registration is recommended but not required for this program. To register or read more, please visit the library’s calendar page at mtpl.org.
