Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue to Host 5th Annual Comedy Night & Gift Auction
Neptune – On October 13th, 2018, Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue will host its 5th Annual Comedy Night & Gift Auction. All dog lovers and lovers of a great time are invited to join in the fun, while benefiting a great cause!
The event will be held from 7:30pm - 11:30pm at Jumping Brook Country Club in Neptune, NJ. Festivities include a one-hour open bar, plated dinner, tricky tray, silent auction and 50/50 raffle, followed by a night of laughs, starring comedians Chris Monty and Rich Walker. All proceeds benefit Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue, whose mission is to ensure each and every dog they rescue becomes a stable pet and matched with their best forever home.
“Our goal is to not only raise funds to rescue more dogs, but to also bring awareness to PYP’s mission; that stable pets only come with training and patience,” said Seth Trinkoff, Pick Your Paw Board Member.
The event is Pick Your Paw’s largest fundraiser, with all proceeds going directly towards the veterinary care of the dogs. Co-president Tammy Boland said, “We are so fortunate to receive support from our veterinary community, especially our Platinum Paw Sponsor, Red Bank Veterinary Hospital, but even with their help, our medical bills can become astronomical.”
Since 2009, PYP has rescued more than 700 dogs that would have been otherwise put to sleep. The organization works with shelters across the tri-state area, Florida and North Carolina to give animals a second chance at life.
If you would like to support Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue and its life saving mission, tickets to the event can be purchased at www.pickyourpaw.org for $65, which includes 10 tricky tray tickets. Sponsorships, auction items and online donations are also accepted, and volunteers are always needed!
