Asbury Park, NJ – September 23, 2021 – CASA for Children of Monmouth County is preparing for a one-of-a-kind Halloween event on October 21, 2021, THE HAUNTING, at The Berkeley Hotel in Asbury Park. The evening spookfest will begin at 7pm in the infamously haunted ballrooms of this legendary oceanfront hotel.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Monmouth County’s festive event will feature an immersive experience through haunted attractions within the hotel, including scare actors and a walk-through frightfest, and so much more. Guests will enjoy a spooky evening of drinks, food, frights, and fun, all to benefit CASA’s program of advocacy for children from Monmouth County in foster care. Proceeds from that night’s event will help support CASA of Monmouth.

“CASA is thrilled to be a part of this extraordinary evening of thrills at The Berkeley. THE HAUNTING is sure to be this season’s premier event and we are delighted that Albie and Chris Manzo at The Berkeley are truly altruistic and were willing to partner with our non-profit. We are so grateful to have this opportunity to extend this invitation to everyone who wants to share in the fun,” said CASA of Monmouth Executive Director, Cindi Van Brunt.

Tickets are limited and on a first come, first served basis at $90 per guest. Advanced ticket purchase is highly recommended. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. CASA is so thankful to The Sparacio Family and to New Jersey Resources for their sponsorship support towards this event. Tickets and sponsorships can be purchased on this website:

CASAs are highly trained volunteers from the community who are assigned to work with children in the child welfare system. CASAs serve as the child’s “voice in court” to ensure the child’s needs are being met while in foster placement and to work towards a permanent, safe home. CASA ensures these children do not fall through the cracks of the child welfare system. CASA of Monmouth is committed to providing an advocate for every child in the child welfare system.
