September 23, 2021 (Red Bank, NJ) – No Limits Cafe had a 65-person team ready to run the NJ Marathon, Half Marathon and 5k in October, when the race was abruptly canceled due to Covid-19. Instead of re-grouping in 2022, the Founders of No Limits Cafe, Stephanie and Mark Cartier, who believe that there are NO LIMITS in life, decided to organize their own race.
The race will take place on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Thompson Park in Lincroft. RUN WITH NO LIMITS will offer both 5k and Half Marathon distances and will be professionally timed by Doug Rice of Split-Second Timing. The race will be fully supported with pre and post-race food and drink, water stations along the course, and plenty of porta-potties! And, medals to all finishers! On-site registration at the Preston Grove Picnic Area permitted on race day at 8:00 am, as space allows.
The race is limited to 200 runners and registration is $30/runner at the following link: http://weblink.donorperfect.com/RUN2021
Please join us on October 16th at Thompson Park. The Half Marathon begins at 9:00 am and the 5k begins at 9:30 am. This will be a great event for a tremendous cause – and if you were planning to run the NJ Marathon, you now have an option. Support the adults with intellectual disabilities that are employed by No Limits Cafe with a healthy, outdoor activity!
