ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS – A Comedy Night featuring comedy legend Uncle Floyd Vivino and an Octoberfest dinner catered by Bahrs Restaurant, the first of many unique activities planned by the Knights of Columbus Council of Our Lady of Perpetual Help St. Agnes Church are set for Saturday, Oct. 30 at the St Agnes Parish Hall, 55 Center Ave.
Event Chairman Mike Napolitano, said this year’s presentation, with all proceeds going towards the Parish Assistance Fund, has been especially planned, in the wake of numerous lockdowns, cancellations, changes in plans and other problems resulting from the Covid 19 pandemic, to reunite and laugh together in celebration of fellowship.
The Knights of Columbus plan numerous activities to help offset parish expenses and provide building upkeep and are grateful to the parishioners who support their efforts. “We thought having a fun night with the dinner catered by Bahrs Restaurant in Highlands, would be a great way to enable us all to get together for an evening of fun and friendship,” Napolitan said.
The Bahrs dinner will include many of the restaurant’s homemade German recipes which have been in the Bahrs family since the restaurant was founded in Highlands a century ago.
New Jersey comedy legend Uncle Floyd Vivino and top notch Master of Ceremonies Robert Anthony, also known as Broccoli Rob, are among those providing the comedy and entertainment for the evening.
