I was enthused to read the article “Support Group for People Who Stutter to Celebrate 1st Anniversary” about the support group of the National Stuttering Association in Monmouth County. The NSA is an excellent organization that has transformed many lives of people who stutter. I encourage the Herald to do follow-up articles on this successful self-help group.

I also wish to mention to your readers that there is a great resource for the Hispanic community. The Stuttering Foundation has a Spanish-language version of their website at www.tartamudez.org. “Tartamudez” is the Spanish world for “stuttering”. Tartamudez.org has the brochures, streaming videos, and downloadable books available on the regular Stuttering Foundation website.
