ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ – In 1980 the Flea Market began as one of our first annual events to raise funds to purchase The Strauss Mansion. It grew and continued successfully for 40 years. We took a one year hiatus due to the Covid Pandemic but now the flea market is back.

The Atlantic Highlands Historical Society’s 41st Annual Outdoor Flea Market will be held at the Atlantic Highlands Marina (off First Ave.) on Saturday September 18h from 10 AM to 4 PM. The Rain /Shine Date is September 25th.

The 140 spaces with 100+ vendors will have something for everyone. A variety of antiques and collectibles, crafts, new and an array of second time around items will be offered. Furnishings, household items, toys, clothing, tools, books, linens, turn of the century postcards, jewelry vintage and new, fishing equipment old and new will be found. If you can name it, it will probably be there, something for everyone.

At the Society tables: Refreshments and a Variety of food items will be sold, There will be our Treasures’ Or table, A Chance Auction for 5 lovely baskets brimming with merchandise, and You can purchase our 50/50 raffle tickets whose Prizes will be awarded on December 8.

Members will be available to answer questions about the society, the Strauss Mansion and our various programs and upcoming events. All proceeds for this event will be used for the further preservation and restoration of the 1893 Strauss Mansion, our Museum at 27 Prospect Circle and for educational and outreach programs throughout the year.
