REF: Coast Guard Taking Final Comments on Height of Future Oceanic Bridge Across Navesink River

It’s really disturbing to me that this process is taking so long. It started long before I retired 14 years ago! It would be nice if the bridge could be replaced before the old one has to be shut down.

I believe that the issue has been studied sufficiently, and by qualified experts. Any further delay borders on incompetence. Lets get behind the experts and build the 65 ft. bridge without further delay. I believe that alternative will be aesthetically pleasing and will satisfy the needs of the Coast Guard, the Federal Transportation Administration, the County, and finally, the users.
