SEA BRIGHT – Yoga, Tai Chih and an author’s  lecture are all on tap in January at the Sea Bright Library on Ocean ave.

Beginning Jan. 8, Lauren Kranich will lead classes in Yoga every Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. All are invited to the free sessions, and are requested to bring their own yoga mat or towel. The program is geared to be beneficial to all ages and levels of ability and can be modified to meet individual needs.

Friday afternoons from 1:45 to 3 p.m. beginning Jan. 10, Dan Pienciak will lead programs in Tai Chih. LIke Kranich’s programs on Wednesdays, Pienciak invites participants of all ages and abilities and can modify individual programs.

Thursday., Jan . 30, author Jamie Turner will be guest speaker at the library from 11 a.m. to 12:30, speaking on her new nook, “Less Stress Life..How I went from crazed to calm and you can, too”  giving personal tips on how to reduce stress levels and enjoy more in life based on her own experiences.

All programs are open to the public and offered at no charge. It is not  necessary to be a library member to participate. 

The library is open Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon through January.  Patrons are urged to check the library’s Facebook page, Sea  Bright Library and Cultural Arts Center for a possible change to winter hours during the early months of 2020.
