police cruisersMiddletown, NJ – On July 24, 2019 at approximately 2:37pm, Middletown Twp. Police, along with Federal Park Rangers, responded to “F” Beach on Sandy Hook for a report of a man down.  Park Rangers arrived at the location and located an adult male lying on the sand near the water’s edge in an unresponsive condition.  The identity of the subject is not being released at this time, pending notification to family.  Personnel from the Middlesex County Medical Examiner responded to the scene and this investigation is ongoing.  The incident does not appear to be criminal in nature.   Police ask if anyone has additional information, to please call the Middletown Twp. Police Detective Bureau at (732) 615-2120
