LINCROFT, NJ – Remember the 1980s? Here’s your opportunity to relive some memories and maybe create some new ones.
The Performing Arts Center at Brookdale Community College presents The Wedding Singer. The musical, based on the 1985 movie starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, will take place on three consecutive weekends starting April 5 and running through April 20. Samantha Giustiniani is the director.
Brookdale students in the cast include: Ashur M Green from Matawan as Sammy and Maeve Byrnes from Red Bank as Linda. Brookdale students in the Ensemble include: Alyssa Brownell from Old Bridge, Anthony Campana from Little Silver, Justin Campana from Little Silver, Gabrielle Freeman from Spring Lake Heights, Brendan Gillespie from Brielle, Ashley Hammer from Neptune City, Jacream Hammond from Long Branch, Janson Heil from Middletown, Mary Grace Iorio from Brielle, Gabrielle Kendrick from Keansburg, Aliza Liranzo from Matawan, and Aleksandra Van Orden from Union Beach.
Brookdale alumni in the cast include: Cody Banks from Union Beach as George, Christopher Kautz from Ocean Grove as Glen Guglia, Lauren Stefanakis from Tinton Falls as Angie Sullivan, and AJ Melnick from Howell in the Ensemble.

The cast also includes community members: Raymond McCue from Fair Haven as Robbie Hart, Lizzy Stefanic from Lawrence Harbor as Julia Sullivan, Julie Freeman from East Windsor as Holly, and Deni Sobotka from Interlaken as Rosie. Community members in the Ensemble include Max Lowrey from Union Beach, Kayla Prendergast from Brick, Jeni Star from East Brunswick, and Sigan Wilson from Ramsey.
