police cruisersHAZLET, NJ – Yesterday morning, March 8, our patrol officers arrested Michael Rusignuolo, 36, of Union Beach for breaking into cars on Mason Drive. Rusignuolo fled on foot from the scene through several residents backyards. Patrolman Rich Wilhelm and Rookie Patrolman Brian Jelinski caught the subject on Poole Avenue and placed him under arrest without incident.

He was charged with Burglary and Theft by Unlawful Taking. He is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Note: This arrest is unrelated to the subject arrested a few days ago for crimes dating back to November.
