ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ -The Rev. Dr. Gary Wetzel of Lakewood will be Sunday’s guest preacher, in the absence of Pastor Kathy Genus, at the First Presbyterian Church.
Wetzel, who has preached here several times in the last year, is the former pastor of the Garwood Presbyterian Church, where he served for 26 years.
Genus will return to the pulpit on Sept. 16.

The Presbyterian church’s final summer service at the Gazebo in the marina be on Sept. 23, followed by the annual church picnic.
