Creating premium chocolate is an art that requires great skill, passion & dedication. Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe opened in 1998 and is currently celebrating 20 years in business. Since opening, this mecca of sinfully-sweet chocolate has thrived under the steady and energetic leadership of husband and wife team, Suzi and Stan Hordych, the founding generation. The ‘dynamic duo of chocolate’ have developed and refined their unique, hand-dipped chocolates and candy with absolute devotion and manage day-to-day operations. The number of family members involved in the business totals 13, spanning 3 generations including children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, and nephews, a key criterion for the New Jersey Family Business of the Year Award. The youngest involved family member is grandson, Evan, 16.
