HIGHLANDS, NJ – Highlands Community Singers will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday night at the Gazebo in the Atlantic Highlands Municipal Marina.
The 20-year-old group, directed by Louise I. Donoghue, will also sing at noon on Sunday, Aug. 5, at the annual Highlands Clam Festival in Huddy Park.
The Atlantic Highlands concert is part of the borough’s free weekly Sunday night summer concert series.
The group, which sings primarily at nursing homes and senior citizen venues, is accompanied by accordianist Eric Vagen.
Former Atlantic Highlands Mayor Peter E. Donoghue acts as emcee. Among the soloists who will perform are Rick Makin, Francesca Pippin, Joe Bullwinkel and Donoghue.
