The New Jersey Symphony conducted its 2nd Sunday in the Park event in Red Bank’s Marine Park on July 1. Red Bank RiverCenter thanks the Symphony musicians, conductor and support staff for enduring the heat and humidity to put on a glorious show of iconic stage music and patriotic favorites.

A cooling breeze arrived just in time for the NJ Symphony’s rousing renditions of themes from the branches of the United States Armed Forces.  This special salute brought dozens of Veterans to their feet as the crowd clapped, waved flags and honored all Veterans for their service.

The free concert was a wonderful use of the town’s special waterfront park and further cements Red Bank’s position in the arts community.

RiverCenter is proud to organize the concert made possible with the assistance of Sunday in the Park sponsors Hackensack Meridian Health Riverview Medical Center (presenting sponsor), OceanFirst Bank and Juanito’s Restaurant, Bakery & Market.  RiverCenter also thanks the Red Bank Police, Red Bank Department of Public Works, Brookdale Public Radio – 90.5 The Night, Red Bank Regional High School, local restaurants and retail shops for their support.

Thank you to the everyone from the Two River area and beyond who attended the concert and who shops and dines in Red Bank. The 2nd annual Sunday in the Park . . . with the Symphony was a success because you found a spot in the shade and enjoyed the beauty of Marine Park and our strong arts community.

RiverCenter looks forward to bringing you world-class music and great memories again next year.
