On June 5, Republicans and Democrats will have an opportunity to vote in the primary election on candidates and issues exigent to New Jersey.

As a Democrat there is one candidate I cannot consider voting for and that is Sen. Robert Menendez.

If you write to Menendez on issues of moment concerning corrupt or useless federal agencies, he just couldn’t care less. Instead of taking an interest in issues pertinent to the people of New Jersey, he spends a lot of time traveling around the world with rich millionaires footing the bills for his entertainment.

Misbehavior on the part of federal agencies should not be obviated with Menendez looking askance.  Has Sen. Menendez ever been to Sussex County? If he has, I have no knowledge of it.

But there is a choice for Democrats like myself on June 5. We can vote for Lisa McCormick and send Menendez into his twilight. Lisa McCormick is in favor of universal health care and a myriad of other issues of essence to regular citizens.
