SHREWSBURY – The annual four-day Spring Book Sale will be held at the Monmouth County Library Eastern Branch beginning June 6 at 9 a.m.
Hundreds of books for adults, children and teens in all subjects ranging from art and history to biography, food, gardening, sports and travel as well as fiction and self-help books will be available for purchase. The library will also sell audio books, music CDs and educational and entertainment DVDs.
The sale continues through Saturday, June 9 during library open hours which are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Special features of the popular event are Half-price Day on Friday, and $1-a-bag day on Saturday.
Friends of the Monmouth County Library have an additional bonus of early entry and a free tote bag. Friends also will have a private preview of the sale on Tuesday, June 5 from 3 to 8 p.m.

Persons wishing to join the Friends of the Library or renew their $20 annual membership can also do that at the library in time for the special events.
Payment is by cash or check only, and there will be no early entry, scanners or dealers permitted. Carts and hand trucks are also not permitted in the book sale area.
