fc monmouth scheduleRED BANK, NJ –  New minor league soccer club FC Monmouth will bring “The Beautiful Game” to Red Bank’s Count Basie Park for its home opener Saturday, May 26 at 6pm against rival Atlantic City FC.

Saturday’s game is a rematch, as FC Monmouth opened its inaugural season in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) with a 2-0 loss at Atlantic City on May 9.

Atlantic City FC is one of eight other teams from NJ and PA that FC Monmouth will face in the NPSL’s Keystone Conference.

The home opener promises to be a raucous event with perfect weather as the club debuts in front of the hometown crowd. Saturday’s match will also be Red Bank Day at Count Basie Park, as members of the Red Bank FC youth travel soccer team will walk the player out during pre-game introductions, and Red Bank band VyntEdge Rock n’ Blues will provide live music starting when the gates open at 6pm.

At halftime the winner of the FC Monmouth mascot contest will be announced, featuring finalists from elementary schools from around Monmouth County.
