An investigation was immediately launched by the Asbury Park Police Department and the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.  Shortly thereafter, officers from the Asbury Park Police Department and Monmouth County Sherriff’s Office apprehended Lentz in the area of 48 Ridge Avenue in Asbury Park after he had climbed out of a window and was attempting to flee.

Lentz remains detained in the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.  He is scheduled today to be formally served with the charges against him at his First Appearance in Freehold.
