HOLMDEL, NJ – On 3/17/18 at approximately 12:45PM Patrolman Michael Michalski was on patrol and monitoring traffic in the area of Palmer Avenue. A 1995 Chevy Blazer passed his location and the officer recognized it as a vehicle that had been recently reported stolen in Hazlet Township. Ptl. Michalski stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver for Receiving Stolen Property and Possession of CDS/Heroin. The driver was identified as Anthony Hoff, age 24 of Keansburg NJ. He was turned over to Hazlet Police for the auto theft. Two passengers in the vehicle were also arrested.
James Baker, age 53 of Middletown NJ was arrested for Unlawful Taking of a Means of Conveyance/Joyriding, Possession of CDS/Heroin, Tampering with Evidence, and Failure to Turn Over a Controlled Dangerous Substance to Police.
Brianne Terracciano, age 22 of Keansburg was arrested on an active warrant from the Holmdel Municipal Court and was additionally charged with Unlawful Taking of a Means of Conveyance/Joyriding, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe. Both were lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
At approximately 4:00 PM Hazlet Police were at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel NJ with Anthony Hoff. Hoff became violent, threatened hospital staff and began to fight with hospital security, Hazlet and Holmdel Police Officers. Hoff assaulted a hospital security officer by spitting in his face and assaulted a Hazlet Police Officer by spitting on his head. Holmdel PD Patrolman Frank Sigismondi charged Hoff with Aggravated Assault, Harassment and Disorderly Conduct for his actions at Bayshore Medical Center. He was subsequently transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution by Hazlet PD.
