police cruisersHOLMDEL, NJ – On February 15, 2018 at approximately 02:04pm, the Holmdel Police Department received a 911 call from the Wells Fargo Bank, reporting a fire inside the building.  Upon arrival, patrol units found that bank employees had extinguished an electrical fire.  The source of the fire was found to be a faulty electrical connection.  

The building was evacuated due to a smoke condition and several employees were transported to Bayshore Medical Center to be evaluated.  The Holmdel Fire Department, Holmdel First Aid, Hazlet Fire Department and Hazlet First Aid responded.
