th choir christmas concertRED BANK—“Christmas Ornaments,” a sparkling medley of carols arranged by Randol Alan Bass, highlights the Christmas concert to be presented by The Tower Hill Choir Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Tower Hill First Presbyterian Church at Red Bank, 255 Harding Road. The program also includes the English carol, “My Dancing Day,” and other seasonal favorites. The choir will be accompanied by piano, organ and orchestra. The congregation will be invited to join the choir in singing favorite Christmas carols.

The program is directed by Nicole Cochran, the church’s music director, and is part of the Tower Hill Concert Series. “The concert includes a range of works that express the joy of Christmas and the warmth it stirs in our hearts,” says Cochran.

Nicole Cochran is in her second year as Director of Music at Tower Hill. She holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from the Juilliard School, New York, and a Master of Music Degree from Westminster Choir College, Princeton, NJ. She was formerly Director of Music for Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, Philadelphia, and Organist for Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church, New York.

There is no charge for admission to the concert. An offering will be taken to offset concert series expenses. The church is handicapped-accessible. Child care will be available.

The Tower Hill Concert Series has presented performances of sacred and secular music for Red Bank area audiences for more than 40 years. Next on the schedule is a March 2 performance by the Kinnara Ensemble, a professional chamber choir.
