MIDDLETOWN, NJ – At the Monday, October 16th Township Committee meeting, the Middletown Township Committee extended their appreciation to Stephen G. Massell for his eight years of service. He was elected to the Township Committee three times and served as Deputy Mayor in the years 2012 and 2015. During his time on the Township Committee, Steve worked diligently to keep property taxes down while continuing to maintain and improve our quality of life.

He also worked to help protect the community through trying times such as Superstorm Sandy and Hurricane Irene.

Steve has also been an advocate for affordable housing initiatives for people who have family members with special needs.

Steve has accepted a position on the Monmouth County Tax Board and we wish him well in his future endeavors.
