longstreet farm wagonHOLMDEL —  The Monmouth County Park System will host its Harvest Home Festival from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday, September 24 at Historic Longstreet Farm, Holmdel.  Reminiscent of an old-fashioned fair from the 1890s, this event features wagon rides, games and live entertainment. There will also be ongoing Victorian-era craft demonstrations. Visitors are invited to join in the spirit of the festival by entering one of the many competitions. Categories include vegetables, canning, condiments, baked goods, embroidery, quilting, rug hooking and more.
