police cruisersHOLMDEL, NJ – On Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 9:25  AM, the Holmdel Police Department responded to Middle Road near Allocco Park on the report of a motor vehicle accident.  It was reported that injuries were sustained by the operator of a motorcycle. 

Upon arrival, patrol units located a black Mazda sedan, and a motorcycle with substantial damage.  The operator of the motorcycle was ejected from the bike and sustained injury to his head, arms and legs.  He was provided treatment on scene by the Holmdel First Aid Squad and MONOC Paramedics, and was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center.  The operator of the Mazda sedan suffered a minor injury and refused medical attention.  Middle Road was closed to traffic for approximately two hours, with assistance from the Hazlet and Middletown Police Departments.
