FREEHOLD, NJ – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of former Monmouth County Freeholder Theodore ‘Ted’ Narozanick (1920-2017).
Ted was beloved by all; he served his Country in the U.S. Army during WWII earning a Bronze Star for valor. His commitment to his community continued his entire life.
He served as the Mayor of Englishtown before joining Monmouth County in 1957 as the Budget Director and then serving as the first County Administrator. Ted then ran for Freeholder in 1985 and served until 2006.
We will always remember Ted’s tireless dedication as his legacy to the people of Monmouth County. The wake will be on Monday, September 4, from 4 – 7 p.m. at Higgins Memorial Home in Freehold. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, September 5, at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima in Freehold.
