The Garden State Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group is the only support group in New Jersey for patients with Pulmonary Fibrosis. The group has about 25 active members.  Presently, there is no known cure for Pulmonary Fibrosis; a group of progressive diseases that cause scarring in the lungs resulting in limited oxygen intake.  Our support group is a valuable resource for the patient, family members and friends. We provide an opportunity to connect with others who are facing similar experiences, obtain practical information and receive support.  The group meets the last Wednesday of every month at Morristown Medical Center.  For more information, please contact Barbara Murphy at: [email protected]

All proceeds from this event will benefit the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF), whose mission is to act as the trusted resource for all who are affected by this disease. The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation mobilizes people and resources to provide access to high quality care and leads research for a cure so people with pulmonary fibrosis will live longer, healthier lives.
