central baptistATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ – Are you looking for a place for your children to learn and grow this summer? Central Baptist Church in Atlantic Highlands has got you covered!

On July 10-14, we will be holding a Vacation Bible School program. Kids from preschool through fourth grade will meet in the morning from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Junior high students who have completed fifth through seventh grade will meet from 5-8 p.m. This camp is sponsored by the Area Association of Community Churches, which includes all the churches in Atlantic Highlands and Highlands.


So what will your kids do at Vacation Bible School? Each day will feature a lesson, as well as crafts, snacks, singing, games, and time outside. The program is run by Johnsonburg on the Road, an organization that specializes in teaching kids about the love of God. Your local pastors and volunteers from our churches will be on hand to assist.

Vacation Bible School costs $30 per camper, but camperships are available. Registration forms can be sent to Central Baptist Church at 28 East Highland Avenue, Atlantic Highlands, NJ 07716. If your passion is soccer, we have a camp for you too this summer! Athletes in Action will run a soccer camp on August 7th – 11th in the evening for kids between the ages of 5 and 13. This is the perfect place for players to kick-start the fall season and for beginners to learn basic techniques.

Each night starts with a warmup at 6 p.m. The children will run through drills, have a snack, and spend time in the coaches’ corner, hearing about their experiences with soccer, life, and faith. The registration fee is $40. The form and fee can be sent to Central Baptist Church at 28 East Highland Avenue, Atlantic Highlands. All campers receive a t-shirt and will celebrate the end of camp with a closing barbecue with their families on Friday night. Our camp might even be visited by a professional soccer player or two!
