**New and Special Programs**

Handmade with Love: Knitting and Crocheting for Teens and Tweens – Thursday June 8 & 22 at 3:30PM – Learn to knit or crochet, and improve your skills. We will be working on a community project while we learn. We will be making and will donate baby blankets to Project Linus. The blankets will go to families in need, and will be given to local hospitals. This program is for teens and tweens ages 11 and up.

Coding with Google CS First Club – Tuesdays and Fridays 6/27 – 7/21 at 3:00PMLearn to code with the Google CS First Club. Club members will teach you how to code with a block based programming language using Scratch. This is an 8 session workshop for teens going into grades 6-8. We will meet in the Computer Lab Tuesdays and Fridays at 3pm from 6/27 through 7/21.Please bring your own earphones, or you may use one of the library’s set of headphones.

Talk Saves Lives: An Introduction to Suicide Prevention – Wednesday, June 28 at 6:30PM – The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, NJ Chapter, will be giving a community-based presentation that covers the general scope of suicide, the research on prevention, and what people can do to fight suicide. Attendees will learn the risk and warning signs of suicide, and how together, we can help prevent it.

Hamilton Sing-A-Long – Thursday, June 29 at 2:00PM – Love Hamilton? Join us for a group sing-along of Hamilton the Musical. For teens and young adults, going into grades 9-12 of high school and freshman-seniors in college.

Write Club: For Teens – Monday, June 12th, 19th, & 26th at 3:30PM – Write with us! We will do a writing prompt at each meeting, work on personal writing projects, and share with each for constructive feedback.
