Strauss MansionATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ – The Atlantic Highlands Historical Society’s Jazz at the Mansion series continues on Thursday May 25 featuring Rolando Alvarado’s South of Mendoza.

An evening of music featuring an interweaving of genres with reinterpretations of songs old and new, classic, original and obscure. This formation of South of Mendoza is presented as a hybrid jazz/ chamber ensemble- one that draws deeply from musical traditions, yet is beholden to none.

The performs include : Melody Chibnik – vocals, guitar and ukelele / Nick Esposito – guitar / Max Carmichael – banjo, bouzouki, flutes, misc. / Rolando Alvarado – bass/  and  Kurt Leon – drums.

 Those attending will be entertained by great musicians and great melodies.

The jazz night at the Strauss Mansion will be held the last Thursday of each month through the Summer and Fall.

Our doors at the Strauss Mansion 27 Prospect Circle Atlantic Highlands will open at 6:30PM.  Show begins at 7:00PM. 

Donation $15, Also bring an appetizer dish or drink to share.
