MIDDLETOWN, NJ -The May 13th Veteran Street Sign Dedications have been cancelled due to the expected inclement weather. A new date to dedicate the quartet of commemorative street signs will be announced. More than 50 signs have been added township-wide to honor Middletown veterans killed in action from World War I to present.
The commemorative sign includes the soldier’s full name, an American flag, branch of service, campaign served and a gold star representing the gold star mother and family. The Veterans Affairs Committee is seeking families of Middletown’s fallen veterans. Family members are encouraged to call 732-787-8510.
