Snapology Scientists  – Monday, April 10 at 10:30 (ages 4-6) and 11:30AM (ages 6 and up) – Encourage your child to love science and nature by becoming a scientist! Students will engage in building concepts related to everyday life from astronomy, earth science, biology, chemistry, and physics using LEGO® bricks and other interactive learning tools.

Teddy Bear Tea – Thursday, April 13 at 11:00AM – Join us for some teddy bear fun! Bring your teddy or other favorite toy animal or doll to our Teddy Bear Tea. We’ll have songs, stories, games, and good things to eat.

Bilbo’s Journey: A Hobbit’s Story – Thursday, April 13 at 6:30PM – Traveling Lantern Theatre Company will perform “Bilbo’s Journey.” It’s a grand story of peril, wonder and daring! Everyone loves the cherished tale of a home loving little Hobbit who finds himself on an adventure he could never have imagined!

Star Party Astronomy Event – Monday, April 10 (Rain date April 11) at 7:30PM – S.T.A.R. Astronomy Group will be on hand in our back parking lot with professional telescopes for excellent sky viewing. It’s a great way to spend time with family while learning a new science. Please register.

**Drop in Programs**

Homework help, develop a skill or drop in for fun creative crafts. We offer Lapsit Storytime for prewalkers, Kids Playgroup, Simply Storytime, Math Tutoring and Reading Buddies, Lego building, and chess. **New and Special Programs**

Adventures in Art – Tuesday, April 4 (7:00PM) and Monday, April 17 (3:45PM)   – Miss Nicole will lead the class in a new type of art.

Knitting and Crocheting – Thursday, April 13 at 3:30PM – Learn to knit or crochet, and improve your skills. We will be working on a community project while we learn. We will be making and will donate baby blankets to Blankie Depot. The blankets will go to families in need, and will be given to local hospitals. Please bring your own crochet hook or knitting needle, we will provide the yarn.

Stock Market Game – Every Friday in April beginning April 7 at 3:30PM – Learn about the Stock Market and compete to have the highest earning portfolio by the end of the month. Receive $100,000 of fake money to invest. Buy and sell stocks, do research, and earn the most money!!

SAT Practice Exam – Wednesday, April 22 at 9:30AM – Take a free SAT Practice Exam at the Middletown Library, conducted by The Princeton Review. Please sign up through The Princeton Review.

College Financial Planning Workshop – Tuesday, April 25 at 7:00PM – The College Funding Associates will be offering a free workshop on financial planning for college. This workshop is open to parents and high school students.

International Table Top – Saturday, April 29 at 1:00PM – We will be playing board games all day long. See the upcoming schedule for games played throughout the day. Stay for one game, or as many as you like. Celebrate gaming and have fun!
