ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS — The Rev. Paul F. Rack will preach on how Jesus reframes our whole life during the 11 a.m. Sunday worship service — marking the Third Sunday of Lent — at the First Presbyterian Church.

All members and friends, as well as all area residents, are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served before and after the church service.

The pastor’s sermon, entitled “Everything I Have Ever Done” and is based on John 4:5-42.

“When Jesus’ encounters a woman of Samaria, she is led to evangelize her whole town by bidding them come and see a man who told her ‘everything she has ever done.’ according to Pastor Rack. “That is how Jesus reframes our whole life, by giving us a different way of seeing and talking about who we are.

“The Christian life is about moving from a life of dissipation and compromise to a new life in which everything fits together and works together for good. Because she met Jesus, not only is her whole life rearranged, but she is inspired to go and tell all her friends and neighbors about it.
