Maker Day 2017! – Saturday, March 25 at 11:00AM – 3:00PM3rd Annual NJ Makers Day.
A statewide single-day event that celebrates, promotes & introduces the MAKER CULTURE to all. Discover the values associated with making, tinkering and STEAM based learning….Science experiments, robotics, sewing, art, LEGOs & more.  Something for everyone!

Act It Out (Pre-K to 1st) – Thursday, March 9 at 4:00PM – Help tell the story! Each child will have a role to play in acting out the story. Sometimes we play an active game after the story. Presented by retired teacher and volunteer, Douglas Bartow.

Abstract Art Panels with Nicole – Monday, March 13 at 3:45PM – Tweens, ages 9-12, are invited to “get abstract” using paint, tape and a blank canvas.


Engineering Block Party for Ages 7 and up – Wednesday, March 15 at 3:00PM – We’ll have our Legos out for ages 7 and up in the community room for an engineering challenge – just for fun.


Maker Monday – Monday, March 27 at 3:45PM – Explore, predict, tinker & make.
This program will allow young people to develop confidence, creativity, & interest in science, technology, engineering, math, arts, and learning as a whole through making.


ScienceStarts: Learning About Energy – Tuesday, March 28 at 4:00PM – Investigate & invent with your 4-7 year old and any siblings. Families will participate in hands on science activities as well as in a storytime featuring books related to the activities. This month we will be exploring energy.

**Drop in Programs**

Homework help, develop a skill or drop in for fun creative crafts. We offer Lapsit Storytime for prewalkers, Kids Playgroup, Simply Storytime, Math Tutoring and Reading Buddies, Lego building, and chess.
