ASBURY PARK, NJ – The Hotel Tides is excited to announce that in January of 2017 we will showcase the talent of many of our employees. On Friday, January 20, 2017 we will hold an art opening reception from 7-9pm which will exhibit the artwork of Chris Lopa (server), Myke Karlowski (front desk agent), Hannah Connors (bartender) and Joy Vay (bartender). The opening will feature the musical styles of server, Carl Chesna and his band. Joining Carl in his vocals will be our “Girl Friday,” Tia Ardizzone.

“We are proud and honored to curate this show. Not only are they great and loyal workers, but they are extremely talented as well. It is an honor to have worked with this distinct group of people for so many years. It is also a reflection of what Asbury Park truly has to offer,” says general Manager, Ryan Jimenez.

Karlowski is an artist who has shown throughout the tri-state area and studied painting at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Lopa has exhibited his work in Europe as well as the United States. Connors studied photography at Parsons University in NYC. Vay has studied fashion and is the lead singer of her band, TV Tramps. Chesna is a singer and songwriter who studied writing at Pace University.

The exhibit will run from January 15-February 19, 2017.

The Hotel Tides is located at 408 7th Ave., Asbury Park
