ah first presbyterian churchATLANTIC HIGHLANDS — The Rev. Paul F. Rack will speak Sunday on what he sees as a sense in which people who have died remain alive in God’s mind and therefore are never really gone from us.

The pastor’s sermon, entitled “To God All Are Alive,” is based on Luke 20: 27-380 and will be presented at 11 a.m. Sunday in the 126-year-old First Presbyterian Church at Third and East Highland avenues.

“Some experts try to test Jesus by giving him a ridiculous hypothetical case to comment on,” according to Rack. “Jesus uses the opportunity to talk about love, relationships, death, time and life.”

This is where we get the sense that those who have died remain alive in the mind of God, according to the pastor.
