A fun-filled evening of music and comedy at the beautiful Windansea celebrates successes and kicks off fundraising efforts for RAGE: Residents Against General Electric to fight monster power lines

Middletown, NJ –  It’s time for RAGErs to add a little fun to the all the hard work of fighting power lines with an evening of entertainment at Windansea , 56 Shrewsbury Avenue, Highlands on Tuesday, August 30th at 7:30 pm.  The evening includes music by local favoritesBrian Kirk (of Brian Kirk & The Jirks) and The Haven, and Vinnie Brand, along with plenty of food, drink and auction items.

“Thank you to our neighbors who are also talented entertainers and are willing to help us draw attention this issue. This evening is one of many opportunities for people to show their support, and better understand the negatives of this project,” said RAGE Board Member Terri Vilardi.

The evening’s entertainers are donating their time to show support for the cause. Brand, owner of the Stress Factory Comedy Club in New Brunswick, is a lifelong Middletown resident, father of six and a member of the Middletown Board of Education.   Members of the Haven and Brian Kirk also live in Middletown and the additional four towns directly affected by the project.

Purchase advance admission online for $26.00 via http://rage2016.weebly.com/.   Remaining seats at the door are $36.00, cash or check only.  All proceeds from admission sales and a portion of the restaurant’s food/drink sales that night will directly benefit RAGE’s fundraising efforts.
